The Board Investment Committee is mandated by the Board of Directors to guide the overall process governing the investment and treasury operations. Chaired by the Executive Chairman of the Group, the Board Investment Committee comprises the Group’s most senior executives with broad financial, investment, risk management and operating experience. The Group Investment Managers (GIM) and Group Treasury Managers (GTM) were formed to assist the Board Investment Committee. GIM is responsible for managing the Group’s equity portfolio and focuses on global perspective, country and portfolio review and asset allocation. GTM focuses on global economic conditions, forex and interest rate trends, strategic trading ideas, major financial exposures of the Guoco Group and hedging proposals to manage the Group’s liquid assets respectively.
