MPI is presently one of the top 6 semiconductor sub-contract assembly operators in the world.

• Motorcyle Manufacturing, Assembly and Distribution : Consists of Yamaha motorcycle assembly and distribution in Malaysia.

• Building Materials : Hong Leong Group is engaged in the manufacture and distribution of a diverse range of building materials such as Floor and Wall Tiles; Fibre and Cement based particleboard products; Roofing Tiles; Steel products; and Medium Density Fibreboard products.

• Newsprint : Through an associate company of Hong Leong Industries Berhad, Malaysian Newsprint Industries, the Group is involved in the manufacture and supply of world-class, premium grade newsprint.

• Furniture : Through Hume Furniture Industries, the Group is involved in the manufacture of home and office furniture, primarily to the United States.
