The Hong Leong Group Malaysia has long been committed to a policy of social responsibility by striving for the betterment of society. The employees of the Group's various companies regularly participate in community services which include visits to welfare homes, organisation of charity events as well as initiating and participating in projects involving environmental and social issues.

At the same time, the Group conducts most of its philanthropic activities through Hong Leong Foundation, which was incorporated in 1992 with the intention of helping the financially poor and needy, especially in the areas of social welfare, education programmes, community services and community development projects.
